Obesity is a global and national public health challenge that continues to increase. The goal of this project is to design and develop an LLM-based chatbot to reduce health coaches’ workload by exploring the potential of prompt engineering to integrate behavioral coaching strategies.

GatorTrack: Examining Notification Designs for Mobile Health (mHealth) Apps
The goal of this project is to explore how mHealth apps can help users achieve their health objective by leveraging push notifications. We implemented the GatorTrack mHealth app that delivers just-in-time adaptive interventions (JITAIs) via context-based notifications to explore how notification occurrence can affect users’ engagement with mHealth apps.

Detecting Face Touching using DTW and Machine Learning Methods on Smartwatches
The goal of the project is to explore a potential approach to help users avoid touching their face in daily life by alerting them through a smartwatch application every time a face-touching behavior occurs. Children’s Cognitive Development and Touchscreen Interaction Patterns
