Hi there! I am a fifth-year Ph.D. student working in the INIT Lab at the University of Florida under the supervision of Dr. Lisa Anthony. My research interests include human-centered computing and machine learning. In particular, I am passionate about developing human-centered AI technologies to support health behavior change in mobile health (mHealth) apps. These AI-powered mHealth apps can empower users to achieve their health objectives by providing real-time, personalized, and actionable guidance.
Currently, I am aiming to examine (1) the design of personalized and adaptive AI-powered chatbots, (2) the timing and content of just-in-time adaptive interventions (JITAIs), (3) the integration and design of explainable AI (XAI) systems in mHealth apps, and (4) the collaboration between health experts and mHealth apps in supporting the user’s health goal.
